AIRPORT BOARD ANNOUNCES OFFICERS FOR 2006 AND WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBER

Lexington, KY — The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board has appointed the following members to leadership positions for 2006:

Bernard Lovely, Jr., Chair
Jeff Woods, Vice-Chair
Thomas Gandolfo, Secretary
James Boyd, Treasurer

In addition, the Airport Board welcomed one new member, J. Robert Owens, who began serving a four-year term in January 2006. Mr. Owens currently serves as Area President of Risk Placement Services, Inc. of Lexington. He replaced Natalie Wilson who completed two consecutive four-year terms of service to the Airport Board.

The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board is the governing body for Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport. Its 10 volunteer members are appointed by the Mayor of Lexington and approved by the Urban County Council.
