BLUE GRASS AIRPORT OPENS THREE NEW RESTAURANTS

Quiznos, Knob Creek Bourbon Lounge
& Caffé Ritazza

March 27, 2008 – Blue Grass Airport is pleased to announce the opening of new food and beverage facilities for its passengers. Today, Quiznos sandwich shop and the Knob Creek Bourbon Lounge opened their doors, and Caffé Ritazza is expected to open by the end of next week.

Quiznos and Knob Creek Bourbon Lounge, both located on the Main Level of the airport, will provide passengers with more extensive eating options before going through security checkpoint. Quiznos serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers both counter service and quick grab-and-go sandwiches, salads and snacks for those getting ready to board their flight. For a "taste" of Kentucky, visitors and residents can visit Knob Creek Bourbon Lounge for a bourbon beverage such as a Mint Julep or Knob Creek Coffee.

Beyond security checkpoint, passengers will soon be able to relax in our new coffee shop, Caffé Ritazza. Caffé Ritazza is one of the fastest growing coffee bar brands with over 290 outlets in 30 countries worldwide. Ritazza offers premium coffee and espresso beverages, hot and cold Ciabatta sandwiches and an assortment of bagels, croissants and pastries.

"These new concessions will provide our customers with high-quality food experiences," said Michael Gobb, executive director at Blue Grass Airport. "Customers will be able to select from a variety of fresh and healthy food options as well as quick meals to bring on their flight."

These new restaurant facilities will be operated by one of the world's leading food and beverage brands in the world, SSP America. This summer, SSP America will also open deSha's American Tavern, a full-service restaurant modeled after deSha's American Restaurant in downtown Lexington.
