AIRPORT EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SELECTED TO SERVE ON COMMITTEE FOR LEADING AVIATION ORGANIZATION

Lexington, KY – Blue Grass Airport Executive Director Michael Gobb has been selected to serve on the Policy Review Committee of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), the largest professional organization in the world for airport executives. 

Members of the Policy Review Committee are key senior executives representing airports nationwide and are appointed by AAAE's Executive Committee. They serve a one-year term and meet with the association's board of directors to provide policy guidance on important issues that affect security, safety and capacity at U.S. airports. 

AAAE was founded in 1928 and represents thousands of airport management personnel throughout the country. Michael Gobb is an accredited member of this prestigious organization and serves on the board of directors for its worldwide affiliate, the International Association of Airport Executives.

Since 1998, Michael Gobb has served as Executive Director of Blue Grass Airport. He is a proven leader in the community and is an active member and officer of numerous organizations in the tourism and transportation industry.
