TRAVELERS CAN NOW RECEIVE A MANICURE IN MINUTES AT BLUE GRASS AIRPORT

Lexington, KY — Blue Grass Airport will soon expand its passenger services with the addition of an express manicure business. The :10 Minute Manicure will offer convenient, fast and high-quality nail services in a sleek kiosk located beyond security checkpoint in the terminal.

"Business and leisure travelers are continuously seeking new ways to better utilize their time at the airport," said Michael Gobb, executive director at Blue Grass Airport. "We are pleased to include this new retail concept as part of our ever-growing passenger amenities."

The :10 Minute Manicure offers an express manicure service specifically designed by and for traveling women, who make up more than 40% of all business travelers. Its signature 10-minute treatment includes nail shaping and buffing followed by a base coat, color coat and top coat plus hand lotion for $15. Twenty and thirty minute nail services will also be offered.

"As an airport, we need to reconfigure our services to match the changing lifestyle of our travelers," added Gobb. "Time is so precious that more passengers are looking to take care of personal needs while traveling."

The :10 Minute Manicure is a Miami-based company that operates airport and non-airport salons. Its premier location at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport has gained widespread acclaim from customers and the salon industry. All nail technicians will wear sleek, yet practical, uniforms and are required to use medical grade sanitization for implements and disposable materials that are above and beyond the industry requirements. All equipment has been considered safe to use post-security checkpoint.
