Delta Connection Begins Lexington's First and Only Non-Stop Jet Service to Tampa, FL and Fort Lauderdale, FL

Lexington, KY – Delta Connection today launched Central Kentucky's first and only non-stop daily air service between Lexington and the popular Florida destinations of Tampa and Fort Lauderdale. In addition, in response to the popularity of the airline's recently announced daily jet service to Orlando, Delta Connection has added a second daily roundtrip flight from Lexington. With the launch of service to each of these popular Florida destinations Delta Connection now offers 22 daily departures to seven destinations including Lexington's only non-stop air service to the Sunshine State. The new service is offered on fast and comfortable 50-seat regional jets.

The airport celebrated the launch of new service by offering all air travelers checking in at the Delta ticket counter on June 1st free oranges to provide a tasteful introduction to the Sunshine State.
