STATEMENT FROM BLUE GRASS AIRPORT

June 20, 2008 – On Thursday morning, June 19, 2008, officers with Blue Grass Airport’s Public Safety Department arrested Stephen Ray Lynn, 51 of Mena, Arkansas, for a violation of KRS 183.061 Prohibition against Operation of or Acting as a Crewmember of Civil Aircraft while Using or Under the Influence of Alcohol or Other Substance. Lynn was transported and lodged at the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Detention Center.

Officers with the airport’s Public Safety Department are continuing in their investigation of the incident.
