BLUE GRASS AIRPORT NOW OFFERS CAR DETAILING SERVICES

June 28, 2010 – Passengers at Blue Grass Airport now have the opportunity to have their car detailed while they are traveling. They can leave their vehicle with valet parking and it will be cleaned and waiting for them upon their return.

Republic Parking, the operator for Blue Grass Airport’s parking facility, is offering valet parking customers an option to have the interior and exterior of their car detailed. Basic detailing is $40 per car ($45 per SUV/truck) and includes hand washing, window cleaning, interior vacuuming, tire cleaning and interior dash and console cleaning. A Full Detail package is also available for $130 per car ($160 per SUV/truck) and in addition to basic detailing includes hand waxing, stain removal of carpets and seats, bug removal, dash and console polishing and leather seat conditioning.

“We encourage our passengers to take advantage of this new amenity and the convenience it offers,” said Eric Frankl, executive director of Blue Grass Airport. “We are very sensitive to the busy lives that our customers lead and hope this new service provides an affordable option to help make their travel experience easier.”

These detailing services are available to valet parking customers only. Valet parking rates are $13 per day, which is $1 less than short-term parking at the airport.
