STATEMENT FROM BLUE GRASS AIRPORT REGARDING NTSB BOARD MEETING

July 26, 2007 – With today’s meeting, the families are finally getting some of the informed and impartial answers they deserve. We cannot imagine how difficult the past year has been for family members when there has been as much speculation as fact presented publicly. The
whole community has suffered. But it’s also been
gratifying to see people in the community support each other. We have gotten a lot of support, and we are very grateful for that.

The NTSB has done an outstanding job of gathering and analyzing the facts under the most difficult circumstances. We all understand that this is an emotional process and everyone wants answers right away. We thank the NTSB staff and Board Members for the work they have done.
