STATEMENT FROM BLUE GRASS AIRPORT REGARDING DISMISSAL OF COMAIR LAWSUIT

August 2, 2007 – We are gratified with Judge Ishmael’s decision to dismiss the litigation. Fittingly, the decision comes just a week after the conclusion of a thorough and impartial NTSB investigation that supports what we have said all along: Blue Grass Airport is a safe and secure airport.

We are not reluctant to defend Comair's claims on the merits because, as the NTSB recently determined, the airport was not a contributing factor in the tragic crash of Flight 5191. The Court's ruling allows us to focus on our primary goal of serving the residents and visitors of central Kentucky.
