ATA Connection Celebrates One Year of Low Fares in Lexington!

Lexington, KY – ATA Connection (operated by Chicago Express Airlines, Inc.), a wholly owned subsidiary of ATA Holdings Corp., today celebrated one full year of service to Central Kentucky with anniversary festivities at Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport.

As part of ATA Connection’s one-year anniversary celebration, Company President Gary Marsh and Blue Grass Airport Executive Director, Michael Gobb greeted passengers departing Lexington bound for ATA’s hub at Chicago’s Midway Airport. In a statement Michael Gobb commended ATA Connection for introducing quality, low fare service to Lexington and the airline’s proactive efforts to partner with local companies and the airport to resolve a number of long-standing air service issues.

Since entering the Lexington market average fares at Blue Grass Airport have decreased by 14%; with business class fares to Chicago decreasing by over 75%.
