NEW AIRPORT BUSINESS TAKES THE STRESS OUT
OF AIR TRAVEL
Lexington, KY Lexington's Blue Grass Airport now offers
on-site massage! That's right, a new business operated by
Massage Therapist Adam VanderMarliere, wants to take the stress
out of air travel.
Phoenix Chair Massage will offer airport patrons
and employees the opportunity to relieve everyday stress and
strains through therapeutic massage in the airport lobby and
airline gate areas.
Massage is an age-old health practice which enhances general
well-being in many ways. It helps relieve the common aches,
pains and stresses that are part of daily living. Through
massage travelers can reduce the physical and mental effects
of stress, the adverse effects of sitting for long periods
of time and relieve common aches and pains such as headaches
and sore muscles.
During the massage session the recipient is seated and fully
clothed. Massage techniques which can be given through clothing
are used, and the session focuses on the upper body- head,
neck, shoulders, back and arms. Foot massages will also be
offered. Massages will cost $5.00 for five minutes, $10
for 15 minutes and $10 extra for foot massages.
"Air travelers lead very busy lives. With
all the stress involved in daily life why add more when you
fly. Now there's a way to relieve that stress and promote
your general well-being without leaving the airport,"
said Therapist Adam VanderMarliere.
Massage Therapists will be available Fridays through Sundays
7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. For More information on Therapeutic
