Blue Grass Airport Meets Federal Delta Connection to Begin Non Stop Service to Dallas, TX from Lexington's Blue Grass Airport

Lexington, KY – Delta Air Lines today announced plans to offer daily, non-stop round-trip service between Dallas Fort-Worth International Airport and Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, KY. Beginning January 31, 2003, the Delta Connection carrier, SkyWest, will operate two daily flights between Dallas, TX and Lexington providing customers with the only service between the two cities and the first non stop service to be offered from Lexington to the Dallas hub. SkyWest will operate the flights with 50-seat Bombardier Regional Jets. From Dallas Lexington area travelers will have access to more than 210 daily flights to 60 cities including popular destinations in the West and Southwest.
