Delta Connection Begins
New Nonstop Air Service to Orlando, FL from Lexington's Blue

Lexington, KY Delta
Connection today launched Central Kentucky's first nonstop
daily air service between Lexington and Orlando, Florida.
With an on-time departure of a 50-seat Embraer 145 Regional
Jet, Flight 6315 carried 48 local travelers on the historic
inaugural flight to the Sunshine State.

At an airport ceremony passengers boarding the inaugural
flight were given commemorative t-shirts celebrating the new
service and were presented with personalized certificates
noting the significance of the inaugural flight. In
addition, every Delta Air Lines customer checking in at the
ticket counter on December 1st was offered a genuine
Florida orange to provide a tasteful reminder of our new flight
to the Sunshine State.

has been tremendous. We expect this flight to quickly become
one of our most popular and successful new routes," said
