AIRPORT BOARD ANNOUNCES OFFICERS FOR 2008

December 21, 2007 – The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board has elected the following members to leadership positions for 2008:

Bernard Lovely, Jr., Chair
James Boyd, Vice-Chair
Thomas Gandolfo, Secretary
J. Robert Owens, Treasurer

Other members of the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board include Roszalyn Akins, John Davis, Robert Dawson, P.G. Peeples, Dr. David Stevens and Jeff Woods.

The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board is the governing body for Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport. Its 10 volunteer members are appointed by the Mayor of Lexington and approved by the Urban County Council.

Blue Grass Airport is served by six major airline brands providing convenient non-stop service to 13 major hub cities and direct service to hundreds of destinations worldwide. The airport proudly serves over one million central and eastern Kentucky travelers each year.
