With diverse backgrounds in firefighting, law enforcement and airport operations, our friendly and knowledgeable staff and instructors provide hands-on instruction in various aspects of responding to an aircraft accident. Their real-life experiences, including those involving aircraft accidents, give them the unique ability to help their students prepare for any situation.
Brian joined Blue Grass Airport as an ARFF Training Instructor in 2020. He is a Kentucky certified firefighter, fire instructor and emergency medical technician who previously served as Fire Chief of Versailles, Kentucky and served for over 23 years with the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government’s Division of Fire.
Scott joined Blue Grass Airport as an ARFF Training Instructor in 2020 after having served with the Lexington Police Department for over 35 years. He is trained in aircraft and helicopter accident investigation and assisted in the investigation of nearly a dozen aircraft accidents.
