January 28, 2026—The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board is pleased to welcome Tony Bonner as a new board member. Mr. Bonner will serve a four-year term on the airport’s 10-member board.
Mr. Bonner has been practicing law in Kentucky for 20 years. He currently serves as an Intellectual Property partner based in the Lexington office of national law firm Dinsmore & Shohl LLP. In this role, he represents a variety of organizations in areas such as patent prosecution, trademark prosecution, copyright registration, patent opinions, open source issues, intellectual property licensing and related litigation.
Mr. Bonner serves on several boards in the community, including the Downtown Lexington Partnership Board and Executive Committee, the Intellectual Property Section of the Kentucky Bar Executive Committee and the Kentucky Intellectual Property Alliance Board, where he also serves as its Intellectual Property Ecosystem Collaboration Pillar Lead.
The Lexington-Fayette Urban County Airport Board is the governing body for Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport. Its 10 volunteer members are appointed by the Mayor of Lexington and confirmed by the Urban County Council.
