Travis Crilly Named Vice President of Commercial Development

Blue Grass Airport Names Travis Crilly, A.A.E., as Vice President of Commercial Development

August 23, 2022—Blue Grass Airport has promoted its airport operations manager, Travis Crilly, A.A.E., to the new position of vice president of commercial development. In this role, Crilly will be responsible for the management of airport property and commercial development, including tenant, concession, and operator lease development. He will also provide oversight of the management and development of tenant aviation services as well as the airport’s newest endeavor of providing ground handling services for commercial aircraft.

“Travis Crilly is a highly accomplished member of our team, and his knowledge of airport operations will enhance the airport’s relationship with its existing business partners and provide us with new opportunities for collaboration,” said President & CEO Eric Frankl. “This new position plays a pivotal role in stakeholder relations and will ultimately enhance the customer experience at Blue Grass Airport.”

Travis Crilly joined Blue Grass Airport in April 2010 and has served as operations manager since January 2012. Previously, he held positions with Atlantic Aviation at Wiley Post Airport in Oklahoma and University Park Airport in Pennsylvania. He serves as vice president on the board of directors for the Southeast Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives and has previously served on the board of directors for the Kentucky Aviation Association. He earned a Master of Science degree in aerospace administration and logistics from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Arts in geography from Penn State University.
